NCCL and Bayard USA Launch New Video Formation Hub for Catechists
NCCL and Catechist.com Partner to Provide Online Formation Resources for Catechists
WORCESTER, Mass., October 1, 2026 — The National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL) and Catechist.com, a ministry of Bayard USA, are pleased to announce their partnership in providing online formation resources for catechists, parish leaders, and Catholic educators across the United States.
The program features professionally produced training videos, downloadable guides, and practical formation resources that help catechists strengthen their ministry, deepen their formation, and create engaging learning experiences for children, youth, and families. Developed through a partnership between NCCL and Catechist.com, the program reflects a shared commitment to equipping those who serve the Church with accessible, practical, and faith-filled formation resources.
Available through NCCLCatholic.org and Catechist.com, these resources offer flexible formation opportunities for individual catechists, parish leaders, Catholic schools, diocesan formation programs, and catechist certification initiatives.
The online resource center includes content focused on the vocation of catechists, effective teaching and learning, creative formation methods, prayer and worship, and Scripture. Each module combines short training videos with downloadable guides that support individual study, parish training programs, ongoing formation, catechist certification, and small-group learning.
A coordinator’s guide is also available to help parish, school, and diocesan leaders implement the program effectively in local settings.
NCCL and Catechist.com share a commitment to strengthening catechetical ministry by providing practical, high-quality formation resources that are easy to access and simple to integrate into existing parish and school programs.
