INSIDE SALE REPRESENTATIVE

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for a territory of schools and parishes in specific dioceses to bring in new business, maintain existing clients and to coordinate sales efforts with an outside sales representative. The qualified candidate will work in the Dayton, OH, office. No travel or nighttime work required. Salary plus commission position.

Basic Functions:

To increase revenue for the Pflaum / Bayard Publishing Group within the territory.

• Building relationships with existing and potential customers through calls and emails
• Listening and consulting with customers on products to meet their needs
• Qualifying leads and following up on web, email and postcard sample requests
• Educating clients on website(s) navigation
• Keeping database up-to-date with call notes and orders
• Maintaining product knowledge of appropriate products
• Coordinate and maintain sales plan
• Promote events where Pflaum will have a presence (i.e., exhibit booths or sponsoring a speaker)
• Assist in setting up parish/school initial meetings
• Assist in setting up workshops for new/existing clients.
• Constant contact for updates/information gathered from meetings/phone calls.
• Hours: Full time

QUALIFICATIONS SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

The successful candidate will have minimum of two years successful sales experience. Catholic Religious Education experience a plus. Knowledge of Excel, Word, and experience with contact management program. Good people, communication and phone skills.
