Hurricane Michael made landfall in the Florida Panhandle region as an unprecedented high-end Category 4 Hurricane. The storm caused catastrophic coastal damage and as far inland as southwest Georgia. Thousands of people lost their homes and are left homeless or facing devastating losses. The humanitarian need is great, exacerbated by the demands from recent hurricanes.
